Our sugar cane plates are food safe, tasteless, water resistant and suitable for use in the oven and microwave up to 140°C. In addition, our plates are 100% biodegradable.
Sugarcane plate "Komodo" 90x90mm has a modern design and can be used for the presentation of your amuse-bouche. Moreover, it offers an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic appetizer plates.
The production of cane sugar produces large amounts of residual material called “bagasse”. These remains would have burned down but are now used as a natural raw material for the production of sugar cane products. The sugar cane articles are certified according to the European standard EN13432, which stands for industrial compostability. This allows the OK compost and seedling logo to be worn.
