If a newsletter is sent, statistics are collected based on the e-mail address. Our newsletters are regularly sent to a specific area of interest (for example, for an industry such as 'Care'). Forms on Hima-Bioproducts.nl or Hima-bioproducts.com
The contact page of this website contains forms where you are asked for personal data. This personal data is stored in our AppSuite of Hostnet BV (on Dutch servers under Dutch jurisdiction) and is usually emailed to the specific department that has to process the data.
The data from forms are only sent by e-mail to the department for which the data is relevant. For example, a contact request for our products only arrives at the marketing or sales department. This is a mailbox that only people who are currently working in that position have access to. There is only a select number of employees who can access all form submissions for administration purposes.
The data is only used to follow up a contact request. In addition to the data that you enter yourself, the time, IP address and the relevant page are stored to give more context to the form submission and in this way to be able to respond more fully to questions.
- Forms and Newsletter Subscriptions
Forms submitted on pages within Hima Bioproducts are stored by Hostnet BV. These are always stored on servers managed by Hostnet BV. These servers are located in the Netherlands and are under Dutch jurisdiction. This information is for our own purposes and will not be sent outside the Netherlands (now or in the future). Transport of this information always takes place over a secure connection. This storage is generally valid indefinitely.
We use the anonymized variant of Google Analytics to collect statistics. These statistics do not contain any personal or demographic information. Hima Bioproducts has concluded a processor agreement with Google for the processing of data. The option to share data with other services (including Google services) is disabled. Transport of this information always takes place over a secure connection. The storage of this data is in the hands of Google and is done in the EU or US under US jurisdiction. This storage is maintained for 14 months.
You have the right:
- to inspect the data we have about you and you can have it corrected or deleted in many* cases.
- withdraw your consent for certain processing operations (such as sending a newsletter)
- via our support department to file a complaint
* we are obliged to keep certain information about you. For example, contact details of our active customers for, for example, urgent service notifications (emergency maintenance or vulnerabilities, for example). From the point of view of security, we are also forced to make backups. We check these for correctness. It is therefore not possible to have your data removed from backups afterwards, because they will then no longer be correct.
